The calorie Shifting diet, also known as the FatLoss4Idiots.com  diet program, is one of the most popular diets today, but what is calorie shifting and how does it work?

 

Calorie Shifting is a weight loss method by which you actually 'trick' your metabolism to believe you're not really dieting. Why is this important?

 

The reason is that when we diet by drastically reducing calories or cutting out a specific nutrient, our metabolism believes we're starving and slows down. This is a biological process which happens due to evolutional reasons. This is the way of out metabolism to help us survive in times of famine.

 

This is why so many diets allow you to lose weight in the beginning, but do not allow you to lose weight in the long run.
